A video of a young TikToker demanding change from a matatu tout has gone viral on social media.  In the video, she gets agitated as the conductor ignores her demands for her money.

The girl named Michelle Joyce Akoth Oruko aka Michelle Mjakafine, is a TikTok content creator and spoke to Dr Ofweneke about that viral video.

She was in a matatu from Alsops heading to Kayole Junction when she dramatically went viral.

"So I was like, nipe change, nipe change. Nikasema huyu ananivhezea, hajui mimi ni content creator. I took my camera and placed it down, -pointing between her legs- then I repeated my demand to be refunded my change"

The Luo accent is what has many tickled.

"Then all of a sudden I heard someone tell me to keep quiet. I reacted sharply and thought to myself we nita kutafuta. Then that person told me, we mumama," she said.

This angered Michelle.

"I'm only 21, I'm children. So that made me even more angry. I got angry but at the same time ilinibamba," she said.

It amused me because that moment grabbed everyone's attention. So I started thinking of how I could make use of this moment to create content"

"The passenger sitting next to me was touching me, and I was uncomfortable, they were telling me to calm down madame"

This infuriated Michelle "I shouted at them to stop touching me. Now I went full in on him -blasting- then after that I noticed all the passengers were upset as well. I realized weuh they could kick me out of this vehicle. "

She decided not to attack the passengers and apologized instead

"Niiona kutawaka, so I said sorry, kwani hamjuini jokes, it was content guys, I am a content creator. Understand me" she informed them.

To quell the anger in the PSV, Michelle showed them her page. They all laughed at the video.

She eventually got her fare back.

"My change was fifty bob. 50 bob is alot of money to me. "

She studies at Kenyatta University Theatre and Film, and that 50 shillings meant alot to her.

"Saa nitatoa wapi epesa? Si I have the whole day, power to ask for my money, so I was like if you dont want to give me my change, just wait and see."

Is she dating?

Laughing, "Mimi siwezi mix love na taxes. For now sina mtu"
