Music producer Kanzu, through his socials, is cautioning fellow producers to always be wary when generating beats for artists to avoid being on the rough receiving end.

Kanzu voiced the importance of having one's paperwork in order before releasing the produced beat into an artist's custody so as not to miss out on earning from their creative work. Noting he was speaking from experience.

"Yoh, what's good? My name is Kanzu, and I produced the beat for 'Kishash kwa Bash,' yeah that was me, man.

I produced it, as you can see here," the artist animatedly said as he shared a screen grab of the song's official YouTube video description text that read "Kishash produced by Kanzu and Ndovu Kuu. Mixed and mastered by Ndovu Kuu, chopped by Omoke, thought by meh,"

He went on to claim that despite his creative work he's never received any money from the hit song that took over the waves back in 2021 soon as it was released.

"Interesting story bro... I have never made money from Kishash. When I tell you I have never made money my friend I mean I've never made money! I have not seen royalties, bro," Kanzu added.

Winding up he highlighted he wasn't making the video to bash Lil Maina or anything, it was just a PSA, so he'd be able to enlighten other producers.

"I'm not here to complain, I'm not here to put down Lil Maina... for any producers out there make sure your paperwork is in order bro.

Make sure you get the bag, and don't watch the artist get rich... that's not how the story ends. Keep your head up," he candidly said.

Adding that he was looking to make his name known with another banger very soon as that's where his passion lay.

"If I did it once, I feel like I can do it again and this time round I want it to sound more original, I want it to sound better you know. I want it to be me.

This is what I do man, making music is what I do, making hits is what I do like. 10 years I've been in this game, 10 years I've been making music bro. So just another bump in the road," Kanzu confidently stated.
