Ricca Pokot, the daughter of the renowned Kenyan DJ Pierre Makena, confidently shared that Prof George Wajackoyah lost his presidential seat due to the controversial snake farming idea in his manifesto that he put out.

In a video that has emerged online featuring Ricca Pokot engaging in a casual conversation with Wajackoyah.

His manifesto included a focus on snake farming, and during their chat, Ricca boldly pointed out that it was this particular idea that led to his loss in the election otherwise, she believed he could have emerged victorious.

"You lost because of the snakes. If you didn't put the snakes you could have won," Ricca candidly told Prof. Wajackoyah

Wajackoyah was a presidential candidate in Kenya's 2022 general election, representing the Roots Party of Kenya, which advocated for the legalization of cannabis, snake farming, and hyena testicle ideas in his manifesto.

However, Wajackoyah argues that his loss was due to manipulation in the electoral process.

"I felt bad when I lost because I believe they stole from me during the election," he responded.

He intended to promote snake farming by highlighting that many people in the country suffer from snake bites and often have to rely on imported snake antivenom from pharmaceutical companies.

He argued that, given Kenya's abundance of snakes, establishing local extraction of snake venom could lead to the production of antivenom.

This would ensure that in the event of a snake bite, the antidote would be readily available within the country.
