Kenyan gospel singer Mr Seed has shared a musical tribute to his late mum days after her burial.

His mum was called Teresa Auma and had been ailing for the past year before she sadly passed away.

Mr Seed had informed netizens of the health challenge they were facing, asking for prayers as she sought treatment.

The song premiered on September 24, 2024'I love you Mama', in memory of her. Describing his loss,  the Dawa ya Baridi hitmaker called it a painful storm in his life.

The song stirred deep emotions in Seed who captioned it

"From the very first breath I took, you've been there as my guiding light. You've shaped my life with love, patience, and endless care. "

He described his deep connection with his late mother and her pivotal role in his family's life.

"Every sacrifice you made, every word of encouragement you gave, had built the person I am today. You are my safe haven, the heart of our home, and the strongest woman I know. I cherish every moment, every lesson, and all the laughter we've shared. Words can't express how grateful I am to have you as my mom. Thank you for everything. I LOVE YOU."
