Shaq The Yungin embraces life as it comes. This Gen Z media personality has been in the spotlight since he was 18, hosting parties and earning the nickname "Nairobi's Youngest Sponsor."

In a candid discussion on the Vibe Vault podcast, he opened up about leaving his radio job and his future career plans.

Shaq, who dropped out of university seven years ago in 2017, shared, "I joined USIU in 2015, and that same year I started working. Once you start making money, school becomes challenging. By my second year, it was crazy trying to balance work and classes."

He informed his mother of his decision to leave school for financial opportunities.

His ultimate goal is to enter politics, and he plans to return to school: "You need qualifications to be elected, so yes, I do plan on going back."

When asked what political position he’s interested in, he replied, "I'm going for everything. I want to aim high. From my heart to God's ears, when it happens, it will happen, but I'm keeping an eye on that field as things change."

Shaq left NRG Radio under unclear circumstances, hinting at underlying issues. In May 2024, he announced his departure after a six-year stint.

"I don’t even like looking at the building," he said, clarifying, "But that's all I can say for now. I wasn't fired; I chose to leave on my own terms. I wouldn’t want to go back."
