US rapper Sead 'Diddy' Combs has been placed on suicide watch as he awaits trial.

Following his arrest, a judge denied his request for bail even after offering his Florida mansion and his mother's house as part of a $50 million bond.

Combs has pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail in the jail’s Special Housing Unit while awaiting trial.

Combs, 54, has been placed on suicide watch at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, which is standard for high-profile individuals.

This was after being indicted in Manhattan on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting for prostitution.

Conditions at MDC have been described as harsh, with reports of violence, suicides, and murders since its opening in 1994.

Despite being isolated from other inmates, Combs won’t receive special treatment, facing 6 am wake-ups and just one hour of recreation daily.

Former warden Cameron Lindsay told TMZ that Combs could be at risk, as some violent inmates might see harming him as a “badge of honor.”
