Fans React to Keilah's Unique Nickname for Mulamwah, Offer Parenting Tips

• The comedian has in the past alleged that he had little contact with his daughter the first two years after she was born because of his disagreements with his ex, Carrol.

In her latest video, delivering a cake and presents to her daughter Keilah, Carrol Sonie captured a heartwarming moment of the young girl expressing excitement for her gifts.

The video, shared on Wednesday, September 18, titled "I Almost Missed My Baby's Birthday," showed Keilah at her grandmother’s home, overjoyed to see her mother.

“Mummy, you've come, I was calling you,” the 3-year-old exclaimed as Sonnie arrived. The bags filled with gifts quickly caught Keilah's attention, and she eagerly demanded to see what was inside.

Sonnie responded with excitement, “I have so many gifts for you. First of all, tell your people thank you.” Facing the camera, Keilah politely expressed her gratitude.

Keilah proudly announced to Sonnie, “Niko na keyboard” (I have a keyboard). Sonnie, surprised, asked, “You have a keyboard? Nice! Who gave you a keyboard?” Keilah replied, “Nilitoa kwa ule jamaa wa bubblegum” (I got it from the bubblegum guy).

Amused, Sonie repeated Keilah’s words to the camera, laughing at the reference to the "bubblegum guy." She then encouraged Keilah to thank her fans again before they proceeded to cut her birthday cake and unwrap the remaining gifts.

The innocent reference to "mtu wa bubblegum" had fans in stitches, though some offered advice, encouraging the individual, presumably Keilah's father, to strengthen his bond with the child so she might use the correct term "Dad" instead.

Some of the fan comments included:

@faithnyaga4665: “Hapo kwa keyboard na mtu wa bubblegum, mayoooo.”

@janewambui4548: “Alipewa keyboard na mtu wa bubblegum got me on the floor… Much love baby Keilah, Caro congrats on 150k subs.”

@melannalias4707: “Kids are honest, it is now Mulamwah’s job to earn the title 'Dad' from Keilah, otherwise she'll keep calling him 'mtu wa bubblegum.'”

@CarolineMaina-e6h: “Ukikuja kwa maisha ya mtoto akiwa mkubwa, what were you expecting? Keilah is just a kid, she knows who she sees around. She will eventually call him Dad polepole (slowly), msiletee makasiriko mingi (don’t get too mad), she is the purest human being ever. Ukimpea hio bubble gum, atakuita hivo. Ukimpea bike, that’s the name she will refer to you with… happy birthday Keilah. My daughter is almost 4 na anaitwa kaa wewe btw... Carol, kudos mama, you are a great mom.”

@Mermaid_720: “Miracles don’t happen. Mtu wa bubblegum should put in effort; itajipa siku moja (it will pay off someday). Keilah has drawn lines, and she has standards.”

@goldenchoiceproperties8302: “Mtu wa bubblegum should learn a lesson… sio kuzaa na kuleta keyboard mtoto akiwa 3 years (it’s not just about giving a keyboard when the child is 3). He should work on that bond before she starts calling Carol’s dad 'baba'—convincing her otherwise won’t be easy.”

@annetachieng-rb4rm: “Ata after kupeleka keyboard, bado tu ni mtu wa bubblegum. Happy birthday toto Keilah.”

Mulamwah also took to social media to wish his daughter a happy birthday, writing: “Wow, time flies 🎂🎂 it’s already 3 years for the queen ❤️❤️ help me wish KEILAH a happy 3rd birthday. To many more years of good health, success, and prosperity my daughter. Kamum is happy ❤️❤️ can’t wait to create lots of memories together 😍.”
