Former Kiss FM presenter Carol Radull is celebrating her birthday today, but instead of the usual celebrations, she has a special request for her fans.

Rather than focusing on eating, drinking, and partying, Carol has asked her followers to support a woman named Cynthia Lisa, who was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer.

In a heartfelt message on her social media, Carol explained why she is appealing for help on Cynthia’s behalf:

“I have a humble request. God has been so good, and I feel the need to pay it forward. 🙏🏼 As you know, I usually ask for gifts on my birthdays, but they are never for me. My dear friend Cynthia Lisa was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer.”

Carol shared that Cynthia, who lives in Western Kenya, is still grappling with the shock of the diagnosis.

"She is currently traumatized and still processing the news. She resides near Uasin Gishu, where doctors have only been able to give her painkillers because she can’t afford proper treatment. The pain in her arm, near the lump, has forced her to stop working, and her aunt is now buying expensive painkillers while caring for her two children as Cynthia is a single mother.

"She needs to travel to Nairobi to get professional care and begin treatment. Right now, she feels lost, and I want to help her start her treatment.”

Carol then provided a Paybill number for anyone willing to help:

"Please, if you can, send a gift for Lisa via Paybill 89 2222, Account: LISA.EDDAHS HOPE CANCER FOUNDATION. Let’s put her on the path to recovery, help her seek the care she needs, and give her hope. Let’s put a smile on her face, not just today but beyond. In Jesus’ name, she will make a full recovery."

Carol also highlighted that Cynthia has been a passionate supporter of Kenyan football, traveling to places like Kericho, Kisumu, and Kakamega to watch league matches.

Carol closed her message with a call for prayers and support:

"For the love of the beautiful game, let’s give her something back. And your prayers are much needed. Thank you in advance."
