Tanasha Donna Oketch, the Kenyan singer and former NRG Radio presenter, has clapped back at netizens who criticized her after she posted a makeup-free selfie showing her natural look following recent lip filler cosmetic surgery.
On her Instagram story, Tanasha expressed her disappointment with those who throw shade at her and fail to appreciate her worth.
She pointed out that there will come a time when people will recognize her value, but she might not be around to receive their admiration.
"You all throw shade at me, but it’s all good. There will come a day when you’ll appreciate me when I’m no longer here," she wrote.
Tanasha is not the first celebrity to face criticism after cosmetic surgery, as fans often critique celebrities for even the smallest changes.
Her ex-boyfriend, Diamond Platnumz, has also faced mockery for his big lips, and now Tanasha’s new look is being compared to her baby daddy’s appearance.
Earlier this year, Tanasha underwent lip filler surgery to enhance the fullness and shape of her lips, aiming for a more youthful look. She had previously mentioned that it took about two weeks for the fillers to fully settle.
