Popular Mugithi performer DJ Fatxo has publicly defended Bishop Muthee Kiengei amidst the ongoing drama at his JCM church.
Fatxo, who himself faced challenges with his followers online a year ago, posted a message of support for Kiengei on his Facebook page, acknowledging that some people might criticize him for his stance.
He described Kiengei as a person of faith and expressed confidence that the issues at the church would eventually be resolved and that a new dawn would emerge.
"I don't know how to address you, Bishop, but allow me to call you 'Blessed,' 'Blessed.' A strong voice tells me to tell you, Guka wa Nairobi, Muthee Kiengei Bishop Ben of JCM Church: God Loves You & He is not done with You. I know I will be criticized, but I cannot remain silent. Your battle is spiritual, and only a few will understand," Fatxo encouraged Kiengei.
This comes shortly after it was claimed that an unidentified woman was in a romantic relationship with the JCM pastor.
Last weekend, Kiengei promptly addressed his congregation from the pulpit, publicly declaring that he has only one wife and no other women outside of his marriage.
