Tanzanian singer Rich Mavoko has claimed that although he was not fined for terminating his contract with Diamond Platnumz's music label, WCB, he also did not allegedly receive any payment.

Unlike Rayvanny and Harmonize, who paid significant sums to exit the label, Rich Mavoko left without incurring a fine.

In an interview with Wasafi Media, Mavoko addressed the issue, stating, "You need to speak directly with the label's CEO about these questions."

He added, "If it's said that I didn't pay them anything, then I will say they didn't pay me anything. They'll present their facts, and I’ll present mine."

He questioned, "If I didn't pay their fine, what were they paying me for?"

In a previous interview with Massawe Japanni on Radio Jambo, Mavoko explained that he had business disagreements with the Wasafi boss. "We had different business perspectives. I had my stance, and he had his, so I decided to leave," he said.

When asked if his departure from Wasafi affected his music career, Mavoko responded, "I was making music before joining Wasafi, and I continue to make music now. Perhaps, market-wise, it had some impact."
