Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has responded to reports from Nigerian media pundits that he proposed to his girlfriend Priscilla Ajoke Ojo.
The news came after Priscilla's mother called her daughter a 'wife' after Jux visited Nigeria. Their traditional outfits also sparked rumours as Nigerians say the outfits are worn during pre-weddings.
Speaking after landing at the airport, Jux said his visit to Nigeria was successful.
"It was a nice experience because this time, I went because of my birthday, I was well received. they are kind people. I thank God."
He refused to comment on whether he proposed to Priscillah, saying that he would reveal everything at the right time.
"Somethings are private. If you see I have not shared on social media, it's because I don't want people to know yet, I want it private."
"We did a lot of things while there. You have seen what you have seen, but I will share everything with you soon."
he commented on Nigerian social media users warning him against hurting her.
"She is loved in Nigeria, she is treated well and people are protecting her. They have the right to protect her as she is loved and because I have been seen in different relationships."
