Content creator Marya Okoth and Comedian YY have allegedly split.
The couple shared an announcement on their social media in a statement that has sent shockwaves online.
"Hello and good morning. We are saddened to let you know that Marya Okoth and YY Comedian will no longer be together due to unavoidable circumstances. Thank you for your love and support through our union. We expect individual privacy from each one of you. Thanks" ended the message.
The last post that Marya shared together with YY was six days ago as they advertised a furniture shop.
Marya is currently in Meru where she shared clips of her day plus music from Jua Cali "Kwaheri'.
Back in June, Marya revealed that she moved in with YY after their first date.
Speaking during a guest appearance she made on the Mic Cheque Podcast alongside her partner, the Nurse Toto actress walked the hosts down memory lane as she recounted their earlier years. Marya jokingly quipped about how she felt she was tricked as she also could not fully believe she moved in with YY that quickly.
"I was tricked immediately after the date," started off the mother of one. She went on to add, "It was sort of an hour after we first met... We spent about an hour together, and then I went to his place. And, the baby came along gradually,"
They have a daughter together named Circe Gaona.
