It's been a month since content creator Mummie Francie's father passed away. She shared her final moments with him at his home in Busia, where he was laid to rest on August 6.

Now, Mummie Francie has returned online to update her fans on how she’s been coping.

"I'm taking it one day at a time," she shared on her YouTube channel. Since her father’s passing, she had moved to a new house and started two businesses.

Reflecting on the changes, she said, "It’s been a long time since I last connected with you all, and so much has happened in my life. I've been selfish, I realize that. I haven't been thinking about you guys, and I’m really sorry."

She admitted that grief has impacted her content creation efforts. "Content creation has been a struggle. It’s been bouncing back at me, bum bum bum." She is now rethinking her strategy. "I've been selfish with content creation, please forgive me," she pleaded.

Mummie also revealed that she had planned to start two new businesses, but her father's illness and subsequent passing derailed one of them.

"I was supposed to have two new businesses, but then my dad got sick and left us, so the second business failed. Terribly!" Despite the setback, she remains determined. "I plan, but God has His own plans."

This period has also affected her and her husband. "I've been sad, but God knows best. We’ve lost two businesses, but we’re still here. I’m okay, not fully okay, but I’m alive. I'm alive and kicking, taking it one day at a time. That’s what I’ve been avoiding telling you all. Things will get better."

She expressed her gratitude for the support she’s received from her fans. "It’s been beautiful how you’ve all held me up. I appreciate you. I just don’t want to get emotional."

Her fans have offered her words of encouragement during this difficult time.

Some of the comments are below:
