Gospel artist Mercy Masika and her husband David Muguro recently celebrated their wedding anniversary.
The couple have for years managed to keep away from social media.
When celebrating her marriage, Mercy hinted that she was concerned after realizing she and her husband were of the same height.
Through his social, he wrote

"I recently met a couple where the girl was significantly shorter than her boyfriend. They knew they were a perfect match, but he struggled a bit with their height difference. It got me thinking about how many people worry about height when it comes to relationships.
When I first met my husband on our first date, we were the same height, and I remember thinking, “I really like this guy, but he's my height. Does this mean I’ll have to give up wearing heels?” At that time, I was all about my heels and wore them everywhere."
Luckily for her, height didn't affect her wearing her high shoes.
"Fast forward to now, and I still wear my heels proudly. What really matters is not the height difference but what’s in our hearts. I firmly believe that God is the ultimate matchmaker. He knew what he was doing when he brought us together. Looking back, I know without a doubt that our relationship was meant to be."
Masika met her life partner while performing at a wedding party in Lang'ata where Muguro was a videographer.
"He asked for my number after the event suggesting that he would like me to sing at his wedding one day," she said.
She said she knew David would be her husband soon after meeting him for the first time.
