DJ Krowbar and wife Wanjiru celebrate 14 years in marriage

Celebrated gospel spin master DJ Krowbar and his wife Wanjiru Kirumba are today celebrating 14 years in marriage.

Their anniversary comes at a time when Wanjiru is battling infections as she awaits to undergo a Kidney transplant.

Taking to his socials Krowbar posted

"Today we finish 14 years and begin 15 years of marriage with this dope human being. These two photos are a testament to good and bad times. The God factor has played a huge role in us getting here. Truth is; not by might but by the spirit of God. Mad love @wanjiru_karumba to many more. Happy Anniversary ❤️"

Wanjiru also took to her socials to celebrate her marriage in the caption below

His wife was diagnosed with Cute Kidney Injury in 2022. Despite multiple attempts, she has been struggling with infections that have complicated the surgery.

However, the couple remains hopeful and is planning to make a fifth attempt at the procedure.

Talking to Mpasho's Kalondu Musyimi during the Gospo 1 concert, he revealed the emotional journey about his wife's illness has taught him how weak he is.

Life has also taught him several lessons as someone around will always get sick, and die and as an individual, you will have to start life afresh.

"We have attempted the transplant severally this year but infections here and there make it hard for the surgery to proceed. We are trying it again for the fifth time. Three things I guarantee will happen in your life, someone around you will get sick, someone around you will die and you will start life all over again," he emotionally said
