Seasoned radio presenter, events host and brand influencer Lotan Salaipei has bid adieu to Homeboyz Radio (HBR) which has been his 'home' for 6 good years.

His surprising exit comes in just 3 months after his 'Boyz Club' co-host Kerry Martin was poached by Kiss FM and 2 months after legendary radio presenter and DJ G-Money announced his exit from the station as well as the radio scene in general after 17 years of service.

Taking to his socials Lotan shared a few posters highlighting the shows he had had the pleasure to host and the co-workers he'd had during his long streak working with HBR accompanied by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's emotional hit song, 'See You Again.'

"After 6 years on the Ignition and The Boyz Club it is time for a new challenge," started off Lotan in his caption.

He went on to share a message of gratitude to the co-hosts he had working with, while passing the baton to HBR's newest and youngest presenter Jakes Nyanjom who recently joined the station.

Addressing his former work mates he wrote, "a special thank you to Real Mike Wachira and Kerry Martin for being great teachers and brothers" to Jakes who has been working with the football fanatic for just 3 months, Lotan urged him to keep 'their' Boyz Club active as things now laid on his hands.

"To Jakes Nyanjom, kazi kwako!" Part of his post read.

Finishing up he expressed his undying gratitude to his fans as he teased a comeback into the entertainment scene.

"To all the fans I have nothing but love for you all!!! See you all very soon," the last of his farewell post accompanied with a love heart emoji read.
