Digital creator Darique recently shared a list of essential tools for aspiring TikTok influencers, stating that without these basics, individuals should reconsider their ambitions of becoming successful content creators on the platform.
Darique revealed that if you don't own a double-door fridge stocked regularly with groceries worth over Ksh40,000, you might as well forget about pursuing a career as a TikTok influencer.
"You should have a double-door fridge that you restock with shopping of Ksh40,000 or more. If you know you do not meet that standard, you might as well forget about being a TikTok star in Kenya," he stated.
He also revealed the importance of having a house with an open kitchen, suggesting that moving to Tatu City, where many homes feature this design, could be a solution.
Additionally, he advised making it a habit to treat yourself to a bouquet of flowers as part of the strategy for success on the app.
"If your house does not have an open-plan kitchen, forget being a TikTok influencer. But you have the option of moving to Tatu City. If you can't surprise yourself with random flowers, you should completely forget about being an influencer. Lacking the tools I have mentioned above makes your efforts to become successful futile," he concluded.
Due to increasing demand from his 131.5k followers, Darique made a follow-up video outlining more essentials for becoming a successful TikToker.
He stressed the importance of having elegant white or beige couches and a large mirror positioned in the corner of your living room for aesthetic purposes.
"Unless you have a white or beige couch with a long mirror placed in the corner of the living room, you cannot be an influencer," he added.
Without these elements in place, it can be challenging to meet the standards expected of an influencer in the competitive TikTok space.
