Media personality Anita Nderu and her husband are over the moon as their daughter celebrates her 2nd birthday.

Every birthday is a significant milestone, as not all children get the chance to celebrate theirs.

Taking to her social media, Anita described her daughter's second year as a beautiful journey.

"Today is our daughter's 2nd birthday 🩷 What a beautiful year it has been! Here are some moments, including her voice recorded over that time compilation 🩷 Happy Birthday, Kaya 🩷 We love her sooooooo much!"

Two years ago, Anita had announced on her socials that she had become a new mom.

“I am no longer pregnant. @barrettraftery and I finally got to meet our daughter Kaya Gacheri Catalina Raftery (Rap name: Nippy Suckle) on the 26th of August 2022 at 3:48 am,” she wrote.

She also shared her excitement about finally being home.

“What a whirlwind couple of days it has been. We are elated beyond words, grateful, and in love with our little human. We’re finally back home. Our rent-free housemate is about to reveal her true colors as she schools us through the 4th trimester. Parenthood 101 is now in session,” she said.
