Francis Amisi aka Frasha laid his dad to rest at his final resting place in Seme, Kisumu county over the weekend. 

Mzee Amisi Rao Ong'olo was born in 1949 and died in August 2024.

"An Angel as gone back home ,Dad will miss you . I Love you and will forever cherish the lessons , the laughter and all the blessings . Thanks Dad you outdid yourself dad 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 for now rest in power . Till we meet again it is well with my soul," he wrote on Instagram

The rapper has thanked those who stood with his family during the difficult time.

"On behalf of the Amisi family, I sincerely thank all of you who supported us in giving Mzee Amisi a dignified send off. We are deeply humbled by the love and support you have shown us and we do not take it for granted. may God bless each one of you and your loved ones. To those who volunteered, thank you and May God bless you abundantly."

Different celebrities attended Mzee Amisi's burial among them former PUnit members Gabu and Bon'Eye. Lang'ata member of parliament Jalang'o also attended the burial ceremony accompanied by rapper King Kaka, Producer Musyoka and Jaguar.
