Currently in Kenya, celebrity look alikes are on trend. There's a Jason Derulo look alike, Diamond Platnumz, Ruger, Vybz Kartel, Burna Boy look alike among others.
Well, Remcy Don, who identifies himself as a Jason Derulo look alike has told other celebrity look alike to get serious and be genuine representations of the real celebrities.
"Its important to approach the idea of being a celebrity look alike with authenticity and respect. If you're going to claim to resemble someone famous, ensure you have some tangible qualities or achievements that align with their status," he said
He added that its not just about the appearance but embodying some aspect of the celebrity's success or lifestyle.
"Claiming to look like someone while lacking any substantial achievements or means only diminishes the credibility of your claim and can make us all seem like a joke. Lets aim for genuine representation and respect for the celebrities we admire."
He said this days after Jalang'o's look alike called the MP out for not helping him. He said Jalang'o gave him sh 1k and promised to help him.
Jalang'o responded saying the look alike should also copy his hard work and determination that wait on people to help him.
"Mnajua nacheka nini? Hii ni maajabu. yaani mkifanana sasa ukuwe responsibility yangu. Ungekua unafananan na mimi pia kwa kujituma na kutafuta haungefanya hii interview. So ukiulizwa what do you do for aliving, ooh nafanana na Jalas!"
