Marco Joseph, the prominent vocalist from the gospel music group Zabron Singers, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, while receiving treatment for heart disease at Muhimbili Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The Tanzanian gospel group announced that Marco will be laid to rest in his hometown of Kahama, Shinyanga.
The funeral proceedings are scheduled to begin with a service at 7 AM, followed by breakfast for the attendees.
Mourners will gather for the funeral ceremony, and lunch will be served before the final rites. Marco's burial is set to take place at 4 PM.
Earlier, the group shared the heartbreaking news of Marco's passing on their social media platforms, expressing their profound sorrow.
"It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marco Joseph Bukuru, who departed from this world on August 21, 2024," the statement read.
The group remembered Marco as a devoted husband, father, brother, and minister, adding, "Our family thanks you in advance for your overwhelming love, prayers, and support during this difficult time."
The Zabron Singers also extended an invitation to those who wish to offer financial support to Marco's family during this challenging period.
