Bernice Saroni has shared a significant revelation about marriage that could influence her future relationships.

In her latest TikTok post, Bernice discussed her new understanding of marriage dynamics now that she is a breadwinner, much like men.

"I know many women might react negatively," she began, addressing how her experience as a breadwinner has changed her perspective on marriage.

"Truth be told, now that I understand what men go through, it would guide me if I ever marry again."

She recounted her past marriage, reflecting on her husband’s requests for peace at home, despite the stress he faced from work and financial responsibilities.

"When my husband would say, ‘I don’t want noise; I’m tired, stressed from paying the mortgage, school fees, and just want peace,’ I didn't fully grasp his perspective," Bernice admitted.

She shared that now, as a single mother hustling to provide for her family, she has gained insight into her former husband's point of view.

"Single moms, do you remember when your husband used to say he didn’t want any noise? Now you understand him, right? I get it now," she said.

Bernice explained that if she were to marry again, she would prioritize her partner's need for peace.

"If I were to get married again, I’d keep quiet about any issues until he wakes up, as long as he’s the breadwinner," she stated, mimicking zipping her mouth with her fingers. "Whatever needs to be addressed, I’d wait until he’s rested."

She detailed the challenges of being a breadwinner and managing multiple responsibilities, including mortgage, school fees, and university expenses for her cousin.

"These days, I'm exhausted. When I come home and my children are loud, I think, ‘Can we talk about this tomorrow? My head is spinning.’"

Bernice praised single mothers and fathers who manage their families, acknowledging the difficulties involved.

"Single moms and dads taking care of their families, I salute you. It’s not easy to sustain a home."

Her personal experiences have taught her a lot about what she values in a relationship. "It’s hard when you come home to a place with no peace. I’d rather sign those divorce papers and seek peace elsewhere. Life is too hard to settle where there is no tranquility."
