Businessman Shakib Lutaaya Cham has been advised to take legal action against his wife, Zari Hassan, due to ongoing disputes in their relationship.

Jackson Mucunguzi, a senior police officer in Uganda, recently advised Shakib through the platform X to file a lawsuit against Zari for 'domestic economic and psychological abuse'.

“If my brother Shakib, as an adult, gathers the courage and understands his rights, a case of economic and psychological domestic abuse can be registered with @PolisiUg, the Child and Family Protection Department, and heard successfully within the Ugandan legal system,” Mucunguzi said, stressing the importance of considering the welfare of the male child in the process.

The dispute between Shakib and Zari has intensified after Zari invited her former partner, Diamond Platnumz, to her home in South Africa to celebrate their daughter Latifah Dangote's birthday.

In a voice message, Lutaya, also known as Cham, explained that Zari's actions have repeatedly brought him humiliation and severely affected his mental health.

For her part, Zari, who appeared intoxicated in front of some viewers, claimed that she did not invite Platnumz to South Africa.

She reminded Shakib that the Tanzanian singer is no longer a threat, stating that they had been estranged for many years.

Furthermore, Zari clearly told her husband that she cannot impose rules in their relationship due to his minimal contributions.
