Zari Hassan's husband, Shakib Cham Lutaaya, has confirmed his entry into the boxing world as he pursues professional training to become a skilled boxer.
Speaking through his YouTube channel, Shakib revealed that he has embarked on a journey to learn boxing and expects to participate in a paid fight soon.
"As I've been saying, I've been building my career in boxing. So, in the near future or sometime later, I will have a professional fight. I would like to fight with boxers or anyone willing to step into the ring with me," Shakib said.
However, he stressed that he has no interest in participating in wrestling, preferring only regular boxing.
"It's only boxing for me; I don't like kickboxing, UFC, or any other type of fighting. I just love boxing. I already see myself as a professional boxer because I've been sparring with professionals in boxing," he stated.
Shakib revealed that he comes from a family of boxers, though he himself did not pursue the sport in the past, but the dream is now calling him.
He mentioned that as a child, he was learning to be a boxer but eventually gave up on the sport to pursue other interests.
"I was into boxing when I was younger, but as I grew older, I gave up on boxing because I wanted to chase bigger things," he said.
