Franklin, who revolutionized gospel music in the 1990s, continues to inspire younger generations today. His innovative approach captivated young audiences, leading them to embrace gospel music in new and vibrant ways that departed from traditional sounds.

Maverick City Music, formed in 2018, has gained international acclaim for hits such as "Promises," "Man of Your Word," and "Jireh," a collaboration with Steven Furtick’s Elevation Worship.

Since 2020, the group has become a global sensation, with their songs enjoying widespread popularity. A key factor in their success is their commitment to forging their own path and finding a unique niche that resonates with younger audiences.

Spotify data shows that between April 22 and July 22, 2024, the primary audience streaming Maverick City Music and Kirk Franklin's music falls within the 18-24 age group.

When it comes to gender, 67% of Maverick City Music streams and 61% of Kirk Franklin streams are from female listeners.
