Try and understand their concerns
Before getting angry try and talk to your parents and understand why they do not like your spouse.
They might have a valid reason for doing so. The person might even be related to you.
Have a heart-to-heart conversation
Show them a side of your partner that they do not know as you know him/her more than they do.
Give them time
Once you have talked to your parents, give them time ti weigh the pros and the cons of the relationship.
Seek outside support
These can be close family members who know your spouse.
