Reverend and gospel artist Pitson was among the artists who received singer Israel Mbonyi in Kenya.

They will be sharing the stage on August 10, 2024, at the Worship Experience concert from 12 pm to 8 pm.

During the Press conference, Pitson apologized to Kenyans declaring that the gospel industry in Kenya is not dead.

He noted that the gospel industry has evolved to fit the current generation with live performances and church groups releasing music unlike before when it only worked for individuals.

"I want to assure you that Gospel music is not dead in Kenya . Gospel music cannot die. There is a change in the sound which you will see a lot of live performances, church groups releasing music as opposed to individuals," Pitson said.

Pitson promised to bring back the gospel industry where it deserves to be in the next two years.

He rebuked gospel artists who create scandals and chase clout for their music to trend .

The majority of gospel artists chase clout and Pitson apologized on their behalf as a church youth leader.

He advised his fellow artists, especially upcoming ones to Let God push their songs and bring them to the limelight when the time is right.

"Gospel music na Kiki hazifai kumix. Gospel music inapushiwa na roho mtakatifu, anatupa lyrics na kama anataka iende mbali itaenda. Mungu anaezainua anyone wakati wake ukifika. Nitawahimizi gospel artist haswa wale wanaochipuka wasifanye kiki, gospel sio ya kiki," he said

Pitson will be working with a great team to ensure the concert is a success.
