Nigerian superstar Ruger has landed in Nairobi, Kenya ahead of his weekend performance.

Ruger touched down at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) aboard a Kenya Airways plane at around 8 pm.

At the airport, he was received by the Raha Fest team together with the Mpasho team who had the privilege of a one-on-one chat with him.

During the interview, Ruger mentioned that he is happy to be back in Kenya to meet with his diehard fans.

He also promised fans an electrifying performance at his weekend show that will be happening at Sarit Centre Expo.

What stood out for you the last time you were here? Kalondu asked.

Ruger replied; "The love in Kenya is always profound and it's evident every time I come here. I haven’t been to Kenya since 2023 and I have been around the world touring back to back and I, really happen to be back home (Kenya). I'm happy to be here,”.

Asked about what his fans should expect Ruger said; “It's going to be special, different from last time. I have experienced a lot now and I’m here with my band and friends and we are complete so I can’t wait to see the beautiful people of Kenya again,”.

He also asked his fans to show up in numbers for the show.

Kenyans come to the show, I can’t wait to see you, it’s gonna be amazing so get ready to see Ruger.
