As the Kenyan flag and culture shine at the Paris Olympics, Serena Williams' daughter was spotted wearing a Kenyan bracelet.

In a video shared by Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, their seven-year-old daughter, Alexis Olympia, is seen with the beadwork, catching the attention of a Kenyan viewer.

The family is in Paris, France, for the 2024 Olympics, where Olympia received the bracelet alongside pins from other countries.

Reacting to the video, Winnie Njuguna asked, "Where did she get this wristband? It looks like beadwork of the Kenyan flag."

Ohanian replied that she had received it from a Kenyan player.

"From some Kenyan players! She was so excited to meet them and ask for their pin (and they gave her an even better upgrade with that bracelet!)," he explained.

Instead of pins, Kenyan players were giving out bracelets during the pin trading tradition at the summer games.

Olympic pin trading is a longstanding tradition among athletes, fans, and staff members at the games. It's about more than just sports; it's about celebrating culture and creating unforgettable memories.

Athletes trade official country pins with their competitors around the Olympic Village, along with specialized pins from sponsors, media networks, and the host cities.

This tradition dates back to 1896 in Athens, Greece, when countries wore cardboard badges to denote judges and Olympic officials.
