Stoopid Boy's manager addresses rapper refusing to pay club entrance fee

• The singer's manager Dr Castro has revealed that he was not impressed with the security denying his artiste entrance to the club

'G Bag Na Jug' hitmaker Stoopid Boy was seen at a club entrance asking the bouncers to let him enter into a club event before he was asked to pay for a ticket to get access into the event.

In the video, Stoopid is seen refusing to do so before walking away "I cannot pay club entrance while y'all play my songs in here," he said.

The singer's manager Dr Castro has revealed that he was not impressed with the security denying his artiste entrance to the club.

"I have seen the video where he has been told he has to pay an entrance fee to get into the club. Would you have told that to other artistes like Khaligraph Jones, Breeder and the rest?" he asked.

Adding, "Are you treating him like that because he is Stoopid Boy and he is not dressed flashy? You need to understand his background. You as the club management, you will want him to come perform, do you think he will come?"

He went on to say that the artiste might be struggling with drinking but that was "not something that will end immediately. He needs to be given time."

Answering why the management is yet to take him to rehab, he said they cannot make the decision for him "At the end of the day, it is someone's personal decision. We should not decide for him."

He concluded by asking fans not to judge the singer as he is a work in progress.
