With several hits under his belt, "G Baga Jat" singer Stoopid Boy continues to grow his fanbase.
"God is the reason why Stoopid Boy is a fool and still in the limelight. Salute to all my fans, I big you up. Those who will understand, will understand. Fools will comment foolishness," he is heard saying in a video while speaking with his mentor.
He explained how he believes generational curses are carried down, and that he too has such influences in his life: "You know there are jokes and there are serious things, by the way. There are things you just sit down and ask yourself as an adult. Why has God placed you where you are? There are other things you carry from your family."
The 'Gotta City' artist then spoke about his reasons for intoxication. "If there was a fool in your family, you will carry that foolishness. My reason for drinking is that my grandfather was an alcoholic, and my grandfather was an artist. That is a story from my family."
He shared that as much as alcohol addiction was something he did not like, it was a reality he faced. "My grandfather was an alcoholic and an artist. My grandfather was a person who could not be controlled. And my grandfather released music. Look at the generation I come from, then judge me. Investigate thoroughly who I am."
Back in May, he was the topic of discussion after skipping an interview at a media house due to a dispute over pay.
He felt he needed to be paid to make appearances on TV. "Young, famous, and broke. That has passed," he fired back at criticism over his decision.
