Brown Mauzo is possibly considering offering his female fans an exclusive meet-and-greet moment with him. The Coast singer is inspired by US singer Chris Brown, who currently charges $1,000 for a similar experience.
Mauzo asked his audience how much they would be willing to pay for a photo with him.
"Ladies all over are paying $1,000 for a photo with Chris Brown. How much would you pay for a photo with me?" Mauzo inquired.
Chris Brown has been going viral for charging his fans Ksh 130,000 to pose with him. The cost of the VIP package includes a meet-and-greet option after his concerts.
Fans get to meet Breezy, pose for photos, and receive two signed personal items. They also get early entry to the show, a tour gift, and an 11:11 calendar.
The poses with the US singer have elicited sharp reactions since 2022. The "With You" singer then addressed the online criticism in August 2022 on his Instagram stories:
"PSA!!! WHEN ARTISTS (EVERYONE) DO CONCERTS, they all have something called a VIP PACKAGE. I HAVEN’T DONE MEET AND GREETS IN OVER 7 YEARS…" the 33-year-old wrote in a memo.
"I HAVE THE COOLEST FANS ON THE PLANET... I APPRECIATE THE F-CK OUTTA THEM. THESE ARE MEMORIES THAT WILL LAST WITH THEM FOREVER," he continued before calling out his industry peers,
"UNLIKE MOST OF THESE LAME A– ARTISTS THAT WON’T MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH THE PEOPLE WHO MADE IT POSSIBLE TO EVEN HAVE A CAREER.
I ONLY EXIST BECAUSE THESE FANS SAW SOMETHING IN ME I NEVER THOUGHT WAS POSSIBLE..." he continued before adding, "SO IMA GO ALL OUT FOR MY FANS!!!!"
