Looking back at some financial decisions he made, Comedian Njugush has only laughter about it.

The content creator spoke to Kameme FM where he recalled rejecting major side gigs all because he was content with earning a sh68,000monthly salary.

The offers to Mc among other gigs were opportunities he overlooked while working on Tv reality show Real Househelps of Kawangware.

"Things were good, and you get phone calls then I would think, what am I going to MC for? And I'm being paid at the end of the month. I didn't even want to know how much was being offered. Si me nangojea 68,000. Why are you calling me for sh100k work? for what? Wacha ningojee 68k ya end month"

Radio presenter Muthoni wa Kirumba was horrified he would reject money

"What a fool, " to which Njugush agreed adding "People forget where they come from. I pinch myself when I remember that time. I don't understand what I was thinking"

He refused the side jobs so that he could go home and watch tv.

"Sasa series hauta watch 24 juu kazi ya MC, kwani it's me getting married? 68k. Monday to Friday I am shooting, why are you disturbing me."

He was working on the tv show with his friend Abel Mutua.

Abel quit the show, as Njugush also followed him.

This meant being jobless and without the salary he was used to receiving.

"I left the show because Abel left, and he was the only one who understood my character. So if he left, why would I remain behind? Now I had to start like guys mkiskia kitu usinisahau na unataka CV" he mocked himself.

"Wacha kiumane I returned to theatre."
