Kathy Kiuna of the Jubilee Christian Church has been appointed as Bishop. This was done by Reverend Funke Felix-Adejumo during a Sunday service this past weekend.

She started off by saying;

"We thank God for the people that ordained you."

Adding;

"from today you shift into Bishop. The official consecration will come later just to formalize it but from now, you are free to call her 'my bishop.'"

Reverend Adejumo said she is anointed and has the audacity to do what she was doing.

"From now on we put an addiction to her name, she is no longer Kathy Kiuna, she is Kathy Allan Kiuna."

Her appointment comes days after the burial of her husband Allan Kiuna, who was battling cancer. He died on July 9th while receiving treatment at the Nairobi hospital.

In her tribute to her husband, she described her late husband a role model and one who showed love.

"Honey. I am trying to gather words to describe who you really were to me. I am still living in a dream and wish I could wake up to realize that is all it was - a dream Yet in reality, you've gone to be with JESUS.

Do you realize I have lived more with you than I have lived alone? I don't know how to do life without you. But I pray that the Holy Spirit will help me every step of the way. I miss you so much. our jokes. (known only to us), our laughter our love. You loved me loudly and I thank you for showing the world that an African man can love Iike Christ and show it. This broke the norm that African men don't know how to express love.

You became a role model to many and all your sons have obviously modeled after you. The kind of legacy you have left is for a man beyond your years.

Many said you had speed; it is now clear why, from a young age you were intentional purposeful responsible and we, your family, are reaping the fruits of your diligence. The responsibility on your shoulders was so great yet you carried it with so much ease. I will always love you. May GOD make your crown even bigger because you did well. Till we meet again.
