Following the recent protests happening in the country against punitive taxes and bad governance, lots of individuals have decided to turn the decries into business opportunities.

GenZ fast foods

The GenZs have been trending in Kenya for a substantial amount of time due to them taking matters into their own hands to fight corruption, bad taxes, and even poor governance.

While most had their focus on the protests, a certain entrepreneur decided to name a business GenZ fast food which has turned out to be a good advertisement for the business.

BBI bar

In 2018, opposition leader Raila Odinga together with his counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta designed a report that sought to strengthen and advance economic well-being.

While it faced a lot of backlash from a section of Kenyan leaders,  other people saw it as an opportunity to rebrand a business naming it BBI bar.

Hakuna Matata motors

The phrase 'Hakuna Matata' has been used for ages in Africa meaning no worries. This has been the first word a tourist who visits Africa has learnt which quickly turned into a trending name around the globe.

An entrepreneur who sought the catchy name and turned it into a business brand has enjoyed the fruits of the trend.
