Comedic actor Crazy Kennar has once again demonstrated why he is one of the most talented individuals in the country.
Kennar, who often draws inspiration for his skits from various events, this time focused on the ongoing protests by Gen Z youth.
In a wordless video, Kennar depicts how police officers return to their humble lives after a long day of chasing protesters.
In the video, Kennar acts as a riot police officer who returns to his modest iron-sheet house with all his gear, including his uniform, riot shield, tear gas canisters, and other equipment used in handling protesters.
After the 'police officer' enters his house, which has no electricity, he tries to light a kerosene stove only to find it empty and is forced to use a firewood stove.
After finishing cooking, he realizes he has no water to wash his hands and is compelled to use the tear gas solution they used to disperse the protesters. He then sits down to eat before receiving a call from his boss, congratulating him on a job well done.
Ironically, his boss, who did not participate in the protests, is celebrating luxuriously while his 'officer' who was involved in the day-long demonstrations is eating scraps in his humble abode.
After eating, the 'police officer' lies down on his couch, which doubles as his bed, using his riot shield as a blanket, and deals with mosquitoes by using tear gas to ward them off inside his humble home.
This video has resonated with many who interpret Kennar's message as a commentary on how police officers live in poverty and are used to disperse citizens who are protesting for rights that include the officers' own rights.
