During Bishop Allan Kiuna's funeral service, Vanessa Kiuna his first-born daughter, tearfully thanked mourners for attending her father's burial.

"The last time I stood on this stage was to celebrate my dad and all the victories he had accomplished, and I am so eternally grateful that we got to celebrate him when he was alive,. Although we say goodbye to a great man, we know he lived a full life," the advocate who practices in Australia noted.

Before adding,

"Speaking as his children, he loved us fiercely, and it is because of that love we ended up with people who love us just like him," she said.

Vanessa also expressed gratitude to her husband, Robert, for being there for her family during this difficult time.

"We love you. Everything I have become and will be becoming in the future is a direct impact of what my dad had on my life. Mum, we got you," she said.

Robert for his part described the late Allan as a wonderful father and said that he would do his part in supporting the Kiuna family and continue the bishop's legacy.

"We won't let you down where we are headed as JCC and the Kiuna family. Your legacy will be carried forward. I thank you for being the best dad to my wife and her siblings, the best grandfather to my daughter and her cousins, and a wonderful husband to my mother-in-law.

"We appreciate you and stand with you. I stand with my wife, Jeremy, and Stephanie. This is a tough moment for all of us. I am there for you, and I will be their pillar. If you need a shoulder, I am there. Thank you for everything, Dad," he finished.
