In the eulogy of Bishop Allan Kiuna, the family shared that he wholly surrendered his life to Jesus Christ at the age of 19 under the mentorship of Reverend Teresia Wairimu of Faith Evangelistic Ministry.
They said this encounter with Jesus marked the beginning of a new, exciting journey, igniting a passionate hunger for God that burned brightly within him until the very end.
His divinely orchestrated and lifelong connection with Reverend Teresia Wairimu fostered a renewed mindset and a great vision inspired by his desire to emulate his mentor.
The family also recounted the founding of Jubilee Christian Church in Bishop Allan Kiuna's eulogy. They shared how Bishop Allan Kiuna faithfully served his spiritual mentor for 13 transformative years, a period marked by significant and noticeable changes in his life.
This journey culminated in a profound calling and the birth of a visionary mission. Guided by God's hand, he boldly ventured into uncharted territory to establish Jubilee Christian Church in January 1999.
The mission of this vision was clear: to teach, train, and equip the body of Christ with the word of faith, empowering believers to live victorious lives.
However, making this vision a reality was no easy feat. It required immense sacrifices, including enduring auctions, hunger, lack, and poverty. Throughout these challenges, Bishop Kiuna's unwavering trust in God's faithfulness to fulfill His promises sustained him.
Armed with nothing but a vision and a promise, and supported by his wife, an anointed preacher and worshipper, Bishop Kiuna embarked on this remarkable journey.
Through God's grace, Bishop Allan Kiuna rose to become the General Overseer of Jubilee Christian Church, headquartered in Parklands, Nairobi, with numerous branches both locally and internationally in countries such as South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Bishop Allan Kiuna distinguished himself as a compassionate shepherd, prolific author, dynamic teacher, authentic mentor, pastor of pastors, and conference speaker who impacted thousands of people globally.
His numerous books, teachings, and newspaper columns have triggered many paradigm shifts within the body of Christ and beyond, yielding remarkable results. To the glory of God, he was consecrated as a bishop at the age of 50.
Bishop Kiuna passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, after a long battle with multiple myeloma cancer. He will be laid to rest on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.
