Anerlisa Muigai celebrated her man, Joe Kariuki, with a romantic candlelit dinner. She showcased the businessman on social media while wishing him a happy birthday.
"It's funny how he is so tough around everyone but here he's turned to be so shy. Happy birthday once again," she said. She also revealed to her fans that her man is not on social media.
Earlier this year, Anerlisa had asked her friends to help raise money to bail her man out of police custody.
Unfortunately, one of her friends from the WhatsApp group leaked the message to the public.
"When you thought you had real friends then boom, a blogger sends you a screenshot from a very enclosed group.
Tomorrow could be you. At least I know I cannot count on everyone and that's okay. And yes, we managed to get out without your help. We good. #GodFirst," she wrote.
She added, "Fake friends are like shadows: always near you at your brightest moments but nowhere to be seen at your darkest hour. True friends are like stars, you don't always see them but they are always there."
Muigai confirmed that she knows who betrayed her. "You can play with fake accounts but you cannot play with technology. Glad to have found out who leaked my message," she wrote on Instagram stories. Adding, "The person smiling with you could be your Judas, #ChapterClosed."
