Kenyan gospel ministers will come together on 4th August 2024 for a charity event to raise medical funds for Francis Thiong'o.
Francis is husband to gospel singer Jemimah Thiong'o. Francis has been in the ICU for the last one month. The family has been strained as the bill continues to accrue.
The family is looking to raise about Ksh 5 million.
The charity event will go down at the Citam Valley Road in a concert dubbed 'The Love Concert.'
Among singers that will be performing include Kambua, reuben Kigame, Mbuvi, Moji Shortbaba, Esther Wahome, Alice Kamande, Evelyn Wanjiru, Rosy Ohon among many others.
Explaining how her husband ended up in the ICU, Jemimah said that her husband walked in the hospital for a small procedure.
"It became a big issue because he developed complications. He has been in hopsital for close to three months,We've had two fundraisers from family and friends which amounted to Ksh 2.7 Million and we have a deficit of Ksh 3 million."
Adding "We are appealing to you to help clear the hospital bill."
