The late Fred Omondi’s body has finally arrived in Kisumu ahead of burial scheduled for tomorrow June 29, 2024.

Omondi’s body was received at the Kisumu International airport by family and friends of the late comedian among the MP Jalang’o and Big Ted.

Fred will be laid to rest at their home in Sega-Siaya Country tomorrow in a burial ceremony set to be graced by creative, family and friends.

He was a brother to Eric Omondi, Irene Adhiambo Omondi, and the Late Joseph Onyango Omondi.

He was born on 9th May 1989 and died on June 15th, 2024 in a road accident.

Before going to Kisumu, there was a memorial service at the Chiromo Funeral Parlor Chapel, in Nairobi to honour him.

Several celebrities from the comedy industry have converged at the Chiromo Chapel to pay tribute to the late Fred Omondi.

Amogn those present for the service were Terence Creative, Milly Chebby, Bashra the Dance, Don Nyachio, Mc Jessy, 2Mbili, Sandra Dacha, Akuku Danger, Zeddy, Ezra FBI, among others.

Fredrick Odhiambo Omondi (real name) will be buried on June 29th, 2024 in their home in Siaya and his body is expected to leave Nairobi after the memorial service.

Fred became a regular at the Churchill Show as one of the pioneers of modern Kenyan Comedy and went ahead to make a career out of his craft.

Until he met his tragic death Fred was an accomplished creative an entrepreneur who specialized entertainment and graced so many stages in the country.

6:30 PM. - Funeral Procession to Sega-Siaya County for a night Stay.
