Celebrated comedian Eddie Butita went viral after attending Abel Mutua's Juice Party in Eldoret without his better half.

The funny man faced criticism from some of his fans and friends, who questioned why he still hadn't found a partner.

In a bid to help him find a partner, Abel Mutua suggested taking leave to assist Butita in his search for a wife, so he would stop third-wheeling all the time.

After the Juice Party, the comedian visited his grandmother's home with his friends.

The visit turned into a lecture from his grandmother, asking Butita when he would bring a partner home. "Alete bado mimi niko namna hii," his grandmother said. "Unachelewa kuletea khuku (shosho) mtu."
