Renowned Kenyan preacher Victor Kanyari has explained that it was his secretary, not himself as widely believed, who came up with the idea of the Sh310 offering.
Addressing his church members, Kanyari elaborated on how they had tried various amounts, such as Sh500, Sh1000, and Sh700, but none were successful.
It wasn't until they asked for Sh310 that they received over one million shillings in a single day, leading the secretary to advise sticking with that amount.
"I had a woman here who went to America; she was my secretary. She came up with the idea of 310. It wasn't me, as others say. We asked for KSh 1000, but no one sent.
We also asked for Sh700, but no one sent. The day we asked for Sh310, we got a million, and that woman told me to stick with that amount. I wouldn't be enjoying the life I have now if it weren't for that woman,” Kanyari said.
Kanyari also added that when this woman calls him, he still chooses to listen to her. He emphasized the importance of valuing those who provide guidance and support.
