US-based Kenyan businesswoman Edday Nderitu took many by surprise with her Father’s Day message to the father of her kids musician Samidoh.

In her message, Edday showered Samidoh for being an amazing dad to their kids.

She also appreciated him for always working tirelessly to give them a comfortable life.

“Thank you for being a loving father to our family. Your unwavering support, guidance, and unconditional love mean everything to us. You work tirelessly to give us a comfortable life, and your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed,” Edday said in part.

“We’re grateful for the sacrifices you make and the time we get to spend together as a family. Today and every day, we celebrate your kindness, patience, and devotion. We love you more than words can express,”.

Father's Day is marked on June 16 every year.

It is a day used to honor one's father, as well as fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society.

The holiday complements similar celebrations honouring family members, such as Mother's Day.

Edday Nderitu’s Father’s Day message came hours after the two linked up in a sweet family reunion for their daughter’s graduation.

They both penned powerful messages to their daughter – celebrating her for the new milestone.

On his part, Samidoh shared this;

I didn’t know whether to go back to school, to feed you, or to fend for myself. Ours has been a journey in which we have seen each other grow. Today, I am very proud of you. As I see you graduate from high school – this! I wouldn’t have missed it for anything in the world. My girl, I wish you greatness. Go and conquer because the world is all yours. Congratulations!!
