• Young girls should emulate Jahmby's legacy

Famous reggae queen, artist, and radio host Tallia Oyando has paid tribute to her long-time friend Jahmby Koikai.

Tallia mourned her friend in a hearty exclusive interview with Mpasho's Kalondu where she explained her close friendship ties with Jahmby Koikai.

"Jahmby was a strong fighter and a conqueror, I love how it was easy for her to make friends and interact with people of all states of life," Oyando stated.

The One Love host reiterated by saying that young girls should emulate Jahmby's legacy by being strong and showing how she had a positive way of living life despite her ailments.

"I know of times that she probably on stage and she was probably in so much pain but she persevered through it," Oyando mentioned.

The renowned artist went on to encourage young girls to persevere, to be strong to speak up and have courage like Jahmby Koikai.

She continued by explaining that Jahmby educated her about endometriosis.

Oyando mentioned that the government should also intervene on the matter and officiate a campaign to aid those suffering from the disease.

Talia also congratulated Natalie Githinji on her plan to start an endometriosis campaign tour around the country. This is a move that will see many females being aided on the procedure and be educated.

In the interview, Oyando reminisced her fondest memory she had with Jahmby Koikai, " there are many but I loved being with her when we were singing with a band, it was really fun, she loved singing."

The TV host concluded by saying that Jahmby's body may not be here but her presence is felt, hear her voice, remember her through music and also pictures so she is still with us.
