Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika Mung’asia has hinted that she may never marry again. During a Q&A session with her fans on Instagram on Wednesday, the 34-year-old beauty revealed that she tried to settle into marriage, but it didn't work out for her.
The mother of two shared these thoughts while responding to the pressure of settling down like her fellow socialite, Zari Hassan, who officially married her partner Shakib Cham Lutaaya last year.
"You can’t settle down like Zarithebosslady. She found love and peace," one fan wrote to Vera on Wednesday.
In response, the socialite, widely known for her curvaceous figure, made it clear that she ended her marriage in 2023.
She also congratulated Zari for successfully settling down but noted that such a step is not possible for her.
"Good for her. I tried. It’s not for me," she said.
Zari and Shakib formalized their union in a private wedding held in South Africa on October 3, 2023. The couple had been dating for over a year before tying the knot.
Vera had also officially married her co-parent Brown Mauzo in October 2020 before confirming their separation last year.
Recently, the drama-encircled socialite surprised many by throwing a lavish party solely to celebrate her divorce in September last year.
Through her Instagram page, Sidika posted a series of pictures and videos showing her grand arrival at the event, accompanied by a major announcement regarding the party.
Sidika, who was married to musician Brown Mauzo for three years and had two children together, informed her fans that she decided to throw a grand party to celebrate her divorce, calling marriage the biggest scam ever in her life.
"Divorce party coming up, marriage is a scam," Sidika wrote on her Instagram story.
The mother of two—Asia Brown and Ice Brown—was seen stepping out of a fancy car at night, surrounded by bouncers, and escorted to the main hall where the party was held.
