Njambi, a great lover of reggae music, passed away on Monday night, June 3, after a long battle with endometriosis.

She was admitted to the ICU unit at Nairobi Hospital, where she died at around 9 PM on Monday.

The deceased, who gained fame while presenting reggae music shows on radio and television, had struggled for nearly two decades with endometriosis.

Last week, Jahmby was admitted to Nairobi Hospital and sent out a request for O-positive blood.

"Hello family, I am currently admitted to the pioneer ward at Nairobi Hospital and I need Blood O positive. Please, I am requesting blood donors for Mary Njambi Koikai," read a post on her Instagram story.

Earlier this year, the presenter narrated her journey with endometriosis.

Fyah Mumma said the condition made her youth difficult. She dedicated her work to educating people about the disease.
