Ciru Muriuki - I wouldn't have gotten through the past 4 months without my mom

Former BBC Africa presenter and digital content creator Ciru Muriuki popularly known as The Millennial Mentor is honouring her mother for the immense support and love that she has enveloped her after the tragic passing of her fiance Charles Ouda.

Ciru and the late Veteran actor, director, and voice-over artist were set to wed this year. Sadly, Charlie passed away on the 3rd of February leaving the former NTV journalist shattered.

Taking to her Instagram page, Ciru shared a photo collage of her and her mom alongside each other. She went on to praise her mother referring to her as a queen who helped her find her footing during the past couple months after her partner's demise.

Captioning the photo, the Millennial Mentor started by acknowledging her mother's strength and awesomeness by writing, "I really am my mother's daughter. I can only hope to be half the woman she is."

She went on to to add, "I would not have gotten through the past 4 months without her... A queen."

Fans flocked to her comment section sending love to her as she continued navigating life and working through her grief while also marveling at how much Ciru resembled her mother.

The talented actor died at the age of 38. The family announced his untimely death on Sunday, February 4, 2024. However, the cause of his death remains unknown.
