Special way Kareh B is honouring her late son

Renowned Mugithi singer Mary Wangari Gioche, popularly known as Kareh B, is in the process of launching the Dulo Foundation in honor of her late son, Joseph Mwadulo.

The late Mwadulo lost his life on March 31, 2024, after a bus carrying him and other students from Chavakali High School overturned at the Mamboleo roundabout in Kisumu County.

The students were heading home for mid-term break when the accident occurred.

On her social media pages, Kareh B has continued to hint about the ‘Dulo Foundation,’ which she says will focus on the overall well-being of youth.

She has also mentioned that the foundation will support grieving parents who have lost their children.

“I am working on the logo for #dulofoundation. We will focus on the overall well-being of youth, that is, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, etc. Not forgetting grieving parents, fathers, and mothers. I know this won't be easy…” Kareh B said.

The talented musician showed a picture of the foundation's logo that is being worked on. She also prayed for God's help as she embarks on establishing the foundation.

This comes nearly two months after the famous Mugithi singer lost her son, Joe Mwadulo, who was a Form Four student at Chavakali High School at the time of his death. The young man died at the age of 17.

Joseph Mwadulo, the son of Mugithi singer Kareh B, was buried at his parent’s home in Kimangaru, Embu County, on April 12.

Mwadulo, who was a student at Chavakali High School in Vihiga County, died in an accident. The accident occurred at the Mamboleo roundabout in Kisumu County on April 1, 2024.

The funeral service for Chavakali High School student Joseph Mwadulo was held on Friday, April 12, 2024.

Mourners gathered at the Kenyatta University Mortuary before proceeding to Embu for a church service and then to the burial site.

The funeral ceremony was attended by family, friends, teachers, and students of Chavakali Boys High School, where the 17-year-old was studying.

Notable attendees included Jacque Nyaminde - Wilbroda Shirandula, Nyambura Wa Kabue, Shix Kapienga - Tasha, Wanjiku The Teacher, Njeri ithaga riene, Jose Gatutura, Terence Creative, Kamoko Wanjiru Waya Joyce, and Wamamaa Wanja Asali Mtoto wakiambulia. Mwadulo had a road accident while returning from school.
